PRICING

Why We Charge on Performance, Not Per Seat

Most legal tech gets paid whether you win or not. We don't. Here's why tying our fee to your outcomes is a trust argument, not a pricing detail.

Almost every tool a defense firm buys is priced the same way: a seat license or a per-page fee, charged whether the tool helped you win or not. The vendor is paid on access. You carry all the risk that it actually works.

A different arrangement

We price Workplex on performance — our fee is tied to your outcomes, not to how many seats you buy or how many pages you upload. That is not a discount gimmick. It is the clearest signal we can give that we are accountable for a result, not just for shipping features.

Software companies get paid whether you win or not. We don't.

Why this changes the relationship

  • Incentives align: we only do well when your firm does, so we are motivated to make the work product genuinely useful, not just present.
  • No shelfware: performance pricing dies on the vine if the product goes unused, so adoption is our problem to solve, not yours.
  • Honest scope: we have no reason to inflate seat counts or meter your usage — the fee follows the value.

The catch worth naming

Performance pricing only works when outcomes are defined and measurable, and when the attorney stays in control of every output — because we are betting on results, not selling a black box. That is exactly the model we want: we take responsibility for the work, you keep the final word, and the fee follows the result. If that sounds unusual for a software company, good. We are not one.
